#MotivationMonday

Good morning guys and dolls,

Today is Monday which means it's time for some much needed motivation. I know I definitely need some, so even if this only helps me, I'll be doing ok.

I can't remember if I announced that I am now a FitFluential Ambassador which basically gives me another outlet to gain more knowledge and tips/tricks when it comes to maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

I know we all need a little extra motivation sometimes so today I'm bringing you 5 ways to get motivated!

5 Ways to Get Motivated

1. Music

Music is a big one for me personally and I know a lot of people that are the same. There are certain songs that just make you move naturally. Whatever your favorite songs are for getting your groove on should always be ready to go. Grab the playlist, hit the gym, road, beach, etc. and get moving! Follow me on Spotify - I am constantly having to put Spin playlists together, so I have a ton of options to choose from!

2. Dress for Success

This saying doesn't just work for business, it works for every aspect of your life. You'll feel better in your favorite work out brands and styles which will in turn motivate you to actually go to the gym or on a run through the neighborhood. I have a ton of favorite brands ranging from Forever 21 to Lulu Lemon. It's always nice to feel good while working to look good.

3. Call a Friend

Working out is always easier with a friend. Even if it is just you two with your headphones in running side by side. Motivation is a lot better when there is someone opting to do the workout with you. Call up a friend, figure out a meeting place, and get to it!

4. Like Nike Says, Just Do It

The hardest part of working out is making yourself go. The moment you have that inkling to drive to the gym, just do it. Get into your car and drive. By the time you realize you maybe don't really want to workout, you'll already be at the gym, and by then there are no excuses.

5. You'll Be Happy

"I'm so upset I completed that workout", said no one.. EVER. You will never be unhappy for making the time to work out. In fact, you will thank yourself for showing up and getting your day started with one. You'll have more energy, you will feel better, and you'll be one step closer to your goals. How is that not motivation in itself to get moving?

Hope these tips help you this week on staying motivated and staying active. If you're in the area, come see me at the gym and we'll set up some training sessions for you. Let's reach your goals together.

Don't forget...

I'm still searching for sponsors to help me with my journey to Miss Arkansas USA this October, here in Northwest Arkansas. This is my last shot before I become too old and I can't do it without the help of my community and friends/family. I'm almost halfway to my goal and with a little help, I know I can reach it. Anything helps from $1 to $500. You will be listed in the official program book, given countless social media love, and it can be used as a business tax write off. Check out my GoFundMe page for more info!

Happy Monday! Have a great week :)
