Motivation Monday

So I said yesterday that I have some exciting news to share.

Last Tuesday I decided to go out on a limb and accompany a couple girlfriends to a hot yoga class. I was kind of nervous since I'm not very experiences with yoga and the whole 102 degree room was something new to me. My friend told me it was actually Hot Yoga Sculpt, meaning there was strength training involved, so I became interested and excited at the same time.

At the studio, every new customer gets one free week of yoga so I was all in. To make a long story short, I fell in love.

Here's a little video to help you understand what sculpt basically is...

Well, during that first class, I was informed that there will be an intensive two week teacher training course starting THIS MONTH for those interested in teaching.

So basically, my exciting news is, I will be using the money I already have saved up to spend on this teacher training course. I am putting my personal training on hold and focusing on this for now, I think it is a perfect fit for me and could not be more excited about this new journey I will be taking.

In other news, by this time tomorrow my bestie will be in town and I cannot wait to introduce her to you!

Have you ever tried Hot Yoga Sculpt?

My sister is dying to try Bikram but we haven't got around to it...yet.

I've done Bikram Yoga pretty regularly but not Hot Yoga Sculpt.

I used to volunteer as a receptionist in exchange for free sessions... it was the best!

My husband and I were talking about how much we missed yoga. Just need to rearrange our schedules to find the time =)
