Motivation Monday


I'm just going to admit it. I have a friend coming in town, and I will be going on vacation/road trip next month and am a little worried about clean eating while on the excursions.

I like to remind myself the tips to clean eating.

I've been having a lot of fun and already noticing mad results from daily work outs with Karena and Katrina of Tone It Up. I used to only do their work outs a couple times a week, but now I have doubled my regimen. Instead of a video or running every day, I basically do both. On days I run I focus on specific areas for strength training before the run, and other days I'll stick with Jillian Michaels which is full body plus cardio. I've noticed my limbs getting stronger, and my abs are well on their way to being where I want them.

I was feeling strong after a run one night last week. I haven't been doing long mileage, but the distance I have been running is getting easier and easier, soon I will move on to longer routes. My body is feeling great and to the point where it can handle a lot.

I've acquired the habit of hydrating daily with coconut water. I can only handle so much unflavored water so this is a nice change of pace and it's completely healthy. I also like Zico brand but in chocolate. Yummy!

Speaking of Karena and Katrina.. Here are some of my favorite work outs by the girls.
