I'm starting a "Motivation Monday" series. Not sure yet if this will be a link up, but you can join in if you want! The more the merrier.
Basicailly, in a nut shell, this is just a day dedicated to giving myself (an whoever else finds inspiration) motivation for the workout week ahead. I will be posting anything and everything regarding health and fitness.
Personally, I love working out and running. With that said, I still find have days where the motivation lacks and it's hard to find the drive. I just remind myself it's worth the work and I will feel so much better after the workout.
Eating right is definitely the hardest obstacle for me. I am a huge sugar feign and am always down to snack.. on junk. I love greasy, fatty foods and would eat it all day every day if I could. I love veggies and fruits too, hell, I just love eating in general. But the sticking to healthy foods part is what gets me.
One thing I love is signing up for races. It helps to motivate me to work towards something. I love the feeling of training for a goal and reaching it. I love the feeling of getting stronger during your training and seeing results. That in itself is enough motivation to keep you going. Almost addictive.
All in all, I think it'll be nice to look back onto my post from Monday every week when I am in need of motivation. Join in if you'd like!
