My Harry Potter Fix

Today is a bittersweet day.

For one, it's the beginning of my three day weekend, which I could not be MORE excited about after the work week I had with Cinco de Mayo. It was rough insane. I feel like it was two or three work days jam packed into one. Ok, maybe I'm exaggerating a little here, but it's not like I sit at a desk all day people. I literally did not stop moving from open to the time my shift was finally over. Granted, the money I walked with was totally worth it, but the aftermath is really painful.

It's time for another My Harry Potter Fix link up!

The reason today is bitter, is because the ladies (Kim and Becky) and I have come to a mutual agreement on taking a hiatus from this link up. It's nearing summer, and we think a good summer break will do this link up some good. Today's post will be the last link until we decide to come back with it. Of course, this doesn't mean this will be the last of ole Harry around these parts. :)

Please join Kim, Becky, and me again this week, as we say "see ya later!" to this fun link up for a while. We hope you join in one last time!

Week 30

We are finishing with Prisoner of Azkaban. In my opinion, the book that had a severe turning of events.

This book was an important part of the series in my opinion. A true turning of events. It's when we really started to see a glimpse of how serious this story really could be.

Introducing Sirius Black as a key character in the series was great. I loved the suspense the entire book on how he was supposed to be evil. I loved Professor Lupin, I thought he was an outstanding asset to the series. I also loved how the students got more and more into the subject of Defense Against the Dark Arts.

We get introduced to several important aspects of the series..

Hippogriffs and Hagrid becoming a Professor.

Dementors and how to get rid of them..

Hogsmeade and the Marauder's Map..

The Time Turner..

Scabbers is really Peter Pettigrew..

Sirius Black is really a good guy, and Harry's Godfather to be exact..

And we really learned the truth about the Marauders.

Overall, I really liked this book. I loved how it set us up for what was to come with the rest of the series.

What did you think of the third installment of Harry Potter? What are your thoughts on saying "see ya later" to the link up? Join us this one last time before our summer hiatus!

The 3rd book was my favorite for a LONG time. I remember being so shocked with the whole Sirius is good, Scabbers is a person, Peter Pettigrew betrayed Harry's parents plot twist. It definitely was a turning point.

I want to take Divination, I think it would be really good at making things up!

I found your blog on Aloha Friday and started following on google friend connect. I had to laugh when I saw this linkup. I love HP and even took a class called Christian Theology and Harry Potter in college. My favorite book has always been The Goblet of Fire :)
