My Harry Potter Fix

Happy Hump Day! Notice anything different around here? I'm super excited about my new look. I've really been wanting a new design that really shows my personality, while staying clean and simple. I haven't had the funds to do anything out of paying bills so I haven't been able to purchase anyone's services. Well, yesterday while talking to my lovely bloggy bff Ashley, she gave me some pointers on how to do it myself. Although it was time consuming, I figured it out and poof - I have a new design, made by yours truly! :) I love it.

So I'm heavy into training for my half marathon. Today is my 3 mile run + strength training. I wanted to get up early to get the run out of the way, but I woke up with a crick in my neck (is that how you spell it?) and am super sore :( I'll just have to wait until after work. No bueno.

Moving on..

Well now that I've been rambling on, I'm going to get to the point of this post in the first place. It's time for another edition of My Harry Potter Fix!

Week 26

1. Which Harry Potter movie actor would you most like to hang out with for a day?
Oh man, this is a tough one. There are SO many good actors and actresses in these films. Emma Watson? I mean I would want to hang out with her for more than one day. Daniel Radcliff? Rupert Grint? Natalie Tena (mainly to stray from HP and talk to her about Game of Thrones hehe) I think they would all be fabulous to get to hang around for a day. I think I'm going to go with James and Oliver Phelps. If they're that funny in the movie, I'm sure they would be that funny in real life. And I don't know many sets of twins so it would definitely be an interesting time!

2. Do you think there should be a television miniseries made in the future based on the books?
I. Wouln't. Hate. It. I mean, there won't be anything in the world like the original series in movies and books, but I wouldn't mind there be a miniseries floating around somewhere on TV about the future generation. Granted, I don't think it will be an interesting as the original since all the good stuff already happened, but I don't know.. why not? As long as it stays along the same line as the original series, and J.K. Rowling has a lot of say in it - I think it could be a hit. With TV there are so many possibilities you can come up with.

3. Be honest - do you want to see the movies remade with different actors sometime in the future?
Hell. No. No, no, NO. Some movies, (LOTR, HP, Hunger Games, Breakfast Club, 16 Candles, etc) should NOT be remade. That is simply what they are, a classic. I mean, I may be alone in this opinion, and may be stuck in my ways, but I don't see a reason for these movies to be remade. The actors, the effects, the setting, it was all done perfectly the first time and should be kept that way :)

We haven't come up with a topic for next week yet, so we're hoping that some of you will help us out and contribute questions via this form. If you do, you can be a guest cohost for a week!

Ok, I seriously love how we bot wrote multiple "No's" about remaking the movies. :)

Lol, I love your response about the movies being remade! I had a feeling these questions were going to draw out some strong emotions this week :) And the Phelps twins are a great choice! Their twitter accounts are hilarious :)

I agree that some movies should not be remade. I feel like if they were remade, they would take more creative liberties and it would be even more different from the books.
