Pipe Masters 2012

As you probably know, I attended the Pipe Masters this past Sunday.

For all of you wondering what that is, it is the last contest in the ASP (Association of Surfing Professionals) World Tour held at Bonzai Pipeline (if you've watched Blue Crush, you should know what I'm talking about) on the North Shore of Oahu.

Surf contests are so much fun to watch. Huge waves, sick rides, and cool wipe outs (when they happen). Plus - hot pro surfers :)

I love going to the North Shore. It's like a mini vacation for my "staycation". Even more, it gets us out of the city!

**All photos below were taken by ME with a Nikon Cool Pix L120. Please do not copy, crop, or use as your own.**

Here are some pictures I took while up North for the contest. Hope you enjoy!

Oh, hey Kelly!

Pure surfing perfection :)

The waves got bigger as the day went on.

We made it just in time to see Kelly's heat. And John John Florence walked right in front of us with his friends to go out after the day was over. It was pretty fun to see it another year.

I think Winter season is my favorite in Hawaii :)

Don't forget to enter!

Love these! What great photos! We don't really get many surfers down here in South Florida, there are never any real waves -- I've always wanted to watch people really surf!
